Workshop on Sub-Editing

Ink Media School of Journalism organized a workshop on “Sub-Editing” in Collaboration with Academy of Journalists, New Delhi on Aug, 29, 2010. The venue of workshop was Deepak Hotel in Sagar (M.P). The members of National Academy of Journalists Mr. Sudhir jain( Chief Sub- Editor, Jansatta, New Delhi), Mr. Prasoon Mishra( New Editor, Dainik Bhaskar, Raipur ), Mr. Ravinder Kumar(Senior Sub –Editor, The Economics Times, New Delhi), Mr. Piyush Babele(Senior Correspndent, The Economic Times, New Delhi) were guests during Workshop. Mr. Ravinder Kumar gave tips to students regarding Business Journalism in the workshop. Mr Piyush Babele and Mr Prasoon Mishra gave information to students related to latest trends of Sub-Editing followed by different newspapers and they also provided knowledge related to popular terms related to Sub-Editing. Mr. Sudhir jain gave an intellectual and interactive presentation on Sub-Editing and he also engaged the students in some practical activities related to  editing during workshop. The workshop continued till late evening. The students showed active participation in workshop and asked several questions regarding Sub-Editing from the guests on workshop.Mr. Ashish Dwivedi, Director, Ink Media School of Journalism was also present during the workshop.
