Tata Jagriti Yatra


“This whole of journey is a great learning process” are the words of Mr. Ritesh Garg in a press conference organized by Ink Media School of Journalism. Mr. Garg was gave briefing about “Tata Jagriti Yatra” an Initiative started by Tata group in collaboration with Jagriti Seva Bandhan. This journey is a yearly program of this institution and Mr.Garg basically works as an operation manager of Tata Jagriti Yatra. 

He said that this a nation wide journey   and it will continue for 18 days and they will choose a group of 400 enthusiastic and curious students between the age group of 20-25 years. He further said that the main aim of this journey is inclusive growth of India. He also said that they wish to spread the spirit of entrepreneurship in among youth of India and they wish to introduce the young people with the people who are involved in the task solving the critical issues related to growth of nation. In the end Mr. Garg answered the queries of students regarding ‘Tata Jagriti Yatra’.

Educational Trip to Delhi by Ink media Scool of Journalism in March,2011


The students of 2nd semester and 4th semester of bachelor of journalism visited delhi in month of march,2011 along with Mr. Ashish Dwivedi and Pankaj Soni and they visited to offices of various media organizations and met well known personalities who have extensive experience in field of media. Rajnikant Gupta student of B.J second semester of Ink Media School of Journalism prepared this video and he has covered all the important aspects of trip in it.

Workshop on Parliamentary Process

Ink media school of journalism organized a workshop on the subject of parliamentary process in collaboration with Pt. Kunjilal Dubey Sansdiya Vidyapeeth on April 8,2011and the guests during this event were Mrs. Anupama Yadav who is the subject expert, Mr. Raghu Thakur,a socialist thinker & Mr. Lalit Mohan,Head of the department of journalism of Hari Singh Gour Central University.
Before this workshop the students of Ink Media School of Journalism dramatized the process of parliament where various students played the roles of various politicians. This provided the students with practical experience and knowledge regarding functioning of parliament such as how to ask question, how to give answers and how to defend oneself in the worst conditions.
Mrs. Anupama Yadav who was subject specialist began her speech by saying that one should know about history of parliamentary process in india and the reason behind it. She also shared some of the quotes of freedom fighters and she further said that corruption has harmed our democracy very badly. Mr. Raghu thakur said that no constitution in the world has stability, he also shared some of the basic information about constitution and he further said that in the country like India judicial activism is key point for the success of democracy and the journalists are not doing their work in effective manner. Mr. Lalit Mohan said that one should know parliamentary ethics and journalist does not have any specific right and he has to use only freedom of expression to perform his duty in effective manner.
Dr. Ashok Panya anchored the whole workshop and director of Ink media Dr. Ashish Dwivedi extended the vote of thanks.
